Should i get my hopes up?

Me n my ex broke up 4days ago.. i've told him how much i love him n how much i would like him back etc.. Well now he starting to flirt with me its his birthday soon n he said he would like me there but i dont know anymore i dont wanna have my hopes up if he's gonna dash them.. Do you think he still likes me or is he just messing with my emotoins?

So, my guess is that he has changed his mind and wants you back too but he is too shy to suggest it. Instead, he is hinting and flirting.

If he is just playing with your emotiions, then good riddance to him.
