i broke up with my last g/f 2 years ago. we had dated for 6 years. It almost seems like im scared to date again. I hurt really bad when we broke up. im over her but its like im just scared to go through it over again.

You realize that the bad experience has slowed you down, so overcome that tendency and get back into the swim of things.

Ask some girls out for dates and before long the physical attraction will overcome your hesitancy.
