i love a girl i don't know
Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Malehi, thanks for reading this. i was wondering if you could help me talk to this girl. i know you are supposed to just say "hi, (her name)" and smile, but for this girl it is so hard! i like her so much because she is unlike any other girl i have ever seen. i have never felt this way about anybody! i can talk to other girls just fine, but it's just this one girl that i always choke in front of when she is near. i even get all the butterflies and lightheadedness.
i think she is a little interested, because sometimes i catch her glancing at me. but she is so shy because whenever i look at her she avoids me. i am trying so hard to hold the eye contact long enough for me to smile, but she never looks long enough. sometimes i feel like giving up, but everyday i am reminded of how cute she is.
i really don't want to mess this up. it's like i don't want to change her by talking to her because i see her as the most perfect girl. i don't want to have a negative impact on her, you know? this has been eating at me for a really long time. thank you so much for your help
RomanceClass.com AdviceYou've got it right.
No matter how hard it is, you have to say hello to her. Practice in front of a mirror. Look her in the eye, say in a clear voice, Hi plus her name, and give her a smile. When she says hi back, tell her your name and that it is nice to meet her.
There is no way around it, you just have to get up the courage to say hi.
Good luck! George
