I love her but im not in love with her

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
Her and I have been dating 2 months today, and for me the spark is gone, actually i dont think it was there to begin with. I am 16 years old and i just kind of stumbled into this relationship, knowing that i wasnt ready. I broke up with her once before but she was staying at my house for a week so i asked her back out(bad idea). Now I know that i should break up with her but i dont know how honestly, its confusing, the last time i broke up with her she cried for 4 hours straight, and layed a guilt trip on me about how i only loved her for the sex. But that isnt true, i do love her im just not in love with her.(I love her like a friend but not a lover or a partner.)Is there a way that i could break up with her and not hurt her to terribly bad?

RomanceClass.com Advice
There is no way you are not going to hurt her.

If you handle it right, however, you can lessen her pain. Tell her you need some time for yourself because you need to think more about your relationship. Say that something seems to be missing and you want to figure out what it is. Meanwhile you want to remain very close friends so you can share feelings.

This will bother her and she will ask you a lot of questions about what you mean and why you want a break. Simply explain that you have no other girl in mind but you want some time to yourself.

Hope this helps some! George
