I want him back and don't know why I lost him
Visitor's Question from a 31-40 year old FemaleI had been in a realationship for a short time under 3 months and although I was scared (my husband had been killed 3 years before)I somehow fell in love with him. He told his friends he was crazy about me called me all the time was pushing me to meet his family and talking about longer term plans i.e vacations and such. Although I knew he was starting a custody battle for his 14 year old son I was supportive, I never even ment his son as he was having problems at home and neither one of us wanted to make it harded on the boy. Everything was great I felt I had meant the one, and was opening up to him slowly, then suddenly he became distant saying "I just can't be with you right now I need to concentrate on my son, and when I am with you I can't do both" Not sure why I always supported his feelings about his son, as I know my daughter came first with me. Then after just talking on the phone for a few weeks him saying the same things and saying someday things would be better hopefully, I found out that he was back with his X (not the mother of his son). When I confronted him all he could say was "I am sorry never wanted to hurt you and you don't understand it is about my son". That was about 4 months ago and I still love him and want him back, have tried to get him to talk to me but he won't meet face to face and it is too hard over the phone....what should i do or is it time to just give up, I have been trying but can't get him outta my head or heart? I did see him one time since in public I tried to act cool and like I was having fun didn't talk to him as she was with him, my friend said he just kept looking at me like he was shocked.
RomanceClass.com AdviceIt's time to move on.
Not only do you have his boy as competition but you also have his ex.
Why torment yourself further? He isn't up to having a real relationship with you and you deserve a man who will concentrate on you.
Make the hard decision and leave him behind.
Good luck! George
