I made a HUGE mistake and want him back!
Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old FemaleI dated D for 2 years and we were very in love. I had some self esteem issues which led to a couple unfaithful issues (making out). We worked them out and he gave me more chances. Towards the end of our 2 years things started to get rocky. I felt like I needed more attention, and got very intoxicated at a party, and ended up having sex with one of his friends. It was the worst mistake I have EVER made. It wasnt until after this incident that i realized i need this man! He means the world to me and I didnt mean to punish him for my immature, low self esteem issues. He loved me all along... and I never was confident to see that. Well I have cleaned up my act and really grown up! At this point he wants his space because he says he is still attracted to me, and a part of him still loves me but I really hurt him. I have left him alone by not calling or texting but I want him back more than anything. I have also found out he has met a new girl at school (not knowing if she is a rebound or not) but he is definatley not over me. My question for you is what now? How do I show him I am a changed, faithful person who wants to be his and ONLY his, while also giving him space?? Is there hope... he said that if he misses me and cant stop thinking about me then he'll know its "meant to be". He just said he needs to figure that out on his own. I love him so much... How do I get him back??
RomanceClass.com AdviceYou should have long honest talks with hime, share feelings, and show him affection (not physical but social).
It's going to take him a while to get over your infidelity, so don't expect a quick solution to this problem.
Let him know you are in for the long haul and that you care for him very much. The longer you are close to him the better he will trust you.
