he wants to date me but i dont want to
Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old FemaleOk well... This girl in my class has been tryin to get me to date her friend for like a month now. I have been dating another guy though so i said no. Well i got mad at the other guy and intended to leave him so i told the girl to give her friend my number. Well by the time i got to meet the guy i had patched things up with the guy i am already seeing. Now he wants to start dating me and i realized he isnt my type but i had already told him what happened with me and my bf so im a lil too scared to just say "im attached to my other guy and ur not my type" because i know hes just gonna get upset and call me an idiot for wanting to be with my bf even after what he had said to me to make me mad. I cant help who i want to be with and well this guy really isnt my type at all and i dont feel comfortable with him. He wants to take me on a date but i really dont want to go and im scared if i come out and tell him that his family and friends (who are also my friends) will hate me cuz they were his friends longer. how do i get him to stop trying to date me but still not have his feelings hurt and friends hate me... my friends suggested blowing him off but im not that mean.
RomanceClass.com AdviceTell him you are back with your b/f, but don't tell him he's not your type.
Explain to him how quickly things happened and that you patched things up fast too. He should understand that your can't have two boyfriends. Also tell some of your friends that you didn't realize you would patch things up so fast so that they might be more likely to be on your side.
Good luck! George
