Girlfriend is too shy
Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Malemy girlfriend is always to shy. shes never assertive enough. shes not real big into asking questions or speaking her mind. i just talk and she'll listen and comment, but never talks back and when im out of ideas there will be akward silience. she "beats around the bush" alot. she wont just be straight forward. she says shes trying, but its been a couple months now. is she really trying? what are some pointers i can give her? any way to make her become more talkitive and relaxed?
RomanceClass.com AdviceOne way to get her talking is to ask her how she is feeling right now.
She will probably say "I don't know" so then you make suggestions to her such as do you feel shy or nervous or scared or awkward. She should admit to something she is feeling. Then you ask her why she is feeling that way. After she says she doesn't know, you could suggest possibilities such as "you think I am confronting you" or "you feel panicky."
You will have to be quick minded when you do this with her. Basically you are trying to draw out of her how she feels. She is hesitant to do this so you will need to be charming, gentle, honest, and trusting.
This probably won't be easy. Good luck! George
