Did we stop cheating?

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
My boyfriend and I have been living/dating for 5 1/2 years. Within the first few months, we both cheated on eachother a few times. We agreed to work it because the main cause was my two best friends telling lies to each of us (some friends HA). Now it is five year's later and he has been hanging out with a guy(his best friend) who is a total cheater. Last night, they left for what I thought was only supposed to be 30-45 minutes and they were gone for at least 6(I got sick of sitting by myself at his friends house and went home.) I trust him to go places but I called and text his friend(he didn't have his phone?) at least 8 times w/ no answer. He kinda made up answers why: phone was in the car, he didn't think it would be a big deal, he said I was crazy. The 2 of them sometimes smoke week ect. and that was his final reason. He finally said sorry by saying, "I said I was sorry ten times(his 1st) then he started getting angry and treating me badly like he didn't care about my concern.
