this girl is like my best friend and she and i have been realy close for a long time and we went to homecoming together and had the most amazing night and after that i started to think about her as more than a friend but i didn't wanna tell her because i didn't wanna ruin our friendship and now she's thinkin about datin this guy a year younger than us and i know he cheats on people all the time and i don't want her to get hurt but i don't wanna get hurt either by losin our friendship so i guess what i wanna know is do i take the chance?

That is gentle enough so you won't endanger your friendship. And, her answer will give you a clue as to how she feels.

It would be a kindness if you would tell her about how the boy cheats... you don't want her to get hurt.
