I still love him

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
My ex was my best mate before we got together and when we did it was amazing! Then a year later he started acting funny and then told me he was no longer in love with me. I was devistated and we didn't speak for quite a long time but after about 6 months we started hanging out again because we are close mates with the same people. Recently (about a year since we broke up,) we've got really close again, hes always leaning on me and hugging me when we're around my other mates. Then about a month ago started having secret random sex after nights out which is cool but think he just wants to keep it casual. The problem being I still love him and want him back but I don't want to lose my best mate again by saying something stupid!

Keep on doing what you are doing.

Don't ask him embarrasing questions or you might scare him away.

However after another six months of the same you should consider telling him that you are developing feelings for him and hope he responds the same.
