I want a girlfriend, not just a friend
Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old MaleWhy, is it that, I keep getting told You're so nice, you're so sweet, we can be friends.......I don't want more friends, I need a Girlfriend!
RomanceClass.com AdviceOf course my first answer is that you should always BE a girl's friend long before you are their boyfriend. You should feel comfortable talking with them, being with them, spending time with them. Many, many boy "friends" turn INTO boyfriends because they first proved to the girl that they really cared about them by listening to them, being with them, doing fun things with them.
So if the message you are giving to these girls is "Just talking to you isn't enough, get lost if you won't do more" then it's no wonder they are staying away. If you DO show them that you are a great friend, trustworthy, and fun to be with, then the rest will evolve naturally. Make sure you're not stopping things at being a "distant friend". Sure you have girl friends. But do you share yourself fully with them? Do they share with you? Do you go to movies and dinners and such with them? Do you hug each other hello and goodbye? If not, you are keeping your distance from them. And they don't want that in a boyfriend. So it's time to show them you aren't afraid of getting closer.
