how to make a move

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Female
first of all i go to a private school so i have about 13 kids in my class...ok so we have a new boy in our class named zach and he is really funny when he is with the guys but he is shy around girls. i am having a hard time being able to talk to him because i dont know what to talk to him about. every time i ask him if he wants to come and join the rest of the class with doing a project or something he says no its ok. and i dont want to sound desperate....he talks to the boys in our class though...and i dont sit by him in any classes so its hard to talk to him...so what i want to know is how to get him to talk to me and get him to like me...thanks alot!

Whenever you pass him in the hall or see him some place else, greet him by looking him in the eyes, saying in a clear voice "Hi" plus his name and give him a big smile. Keep doing this until you two feel comfortable talking together.

To make him like you, do three things: communicate with him, share feelings with him, and be affectionate (compliments, hugs, etc). Also bake him some cookies!
