What is he playing at?

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
I like this guy and last week we met up. We kissed and I told him that I liked him and he said he liked me too. Soon after I asked him out and his response was "I'm not sure as I only broke up with my ex girlfriend a few weeks ago." (They weren't dating very long though.) Now he's giving me mixed signals, sometimes he wants to talk to me, sometimes he doesn't. I don't know what to do anymore as I still like him and dunno how to take it further. It feels like he's blowing hot and cold on me. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Wait another week or two to see how things develop. If they are going the right direction you should ask him to go out with you again.
