I like a guy that my good friend likes too

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Female
Hi, i have a minor problem. My good friend likes this guy but he doesn't like her that much. i have been wipped over this guy for ever. we dated in the 8th grade but then i moved back and since i hang out with her alot he's always around because he lives right down the road from her.

Me and him have kissed behind her back and i feel horrible about it. she seems to not really like him this past week but she could be hiding it. should i tell her how i feel or somethings are better left unsaid. i dunno.

The most important thing you can have in any friendship AND in any relationship is honesty. Yes, she might be upset that he chose you instead of her. But that's his choice! If she is a real friend she will be happy for you and find another guy for herself. If she gets upset at YOU that he likes you, then she's really putting her own feelings before any logic - which means she's not that great of a friend.
