thinks my feelings are stupid or a game

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
My husband regularly belittles my feelings and just isn't there for me emotionally. when I eventually get upset at him for neglecting me emotionally. he accuses me of playing a game. the truth is, when something is bothering me I prefer to talk about it. so like last night I he knew that I was sad. I asked him to come be with me on the couch to adress the issue. he chose to stay on the computer instead. I patiently waited 2 hours before reminding him that I still needed someone to talk to.
he got pissy, so I went to bed. how should i address this maturly?

RomanceClass.com Advice
You are addressing this maturely.

He is ignoring you and that is clearly immature.

Your needs are important and should be important to him. If he ignores you, it is something that needs attention.

Be gentle and slow with him but firmly force him to face the problems that exist betweeen you two. He can't just sit in front of the computer for two hours and ignore you. Don't let him get away with it.

If you two don't come to some closure on this issue there is probably a problem in your future. Make him face up to the situation. There is nothing more important than your feelings.

Good luck! George
