I am so confused and sad!
Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old FemaleMy bf and I have been trying very hard to work on our relationship. After several months of continuing problems, I almost broke it off for good the last two days. However, my bf was upset and really wanted to try one more time. We talked on the phone last night and actually had a very long, decent/civil talk and discussed how it was going to work, if it was ever going to work. We ended the night happy, and giving it one more shot.
Then today (Thursday), I failed to hear from him at all. I worked earlier today, then he worked until 9:30pm, but, he never called or texted. I finally called at 11pm and he was out at the bar, and hadn't planned on calling me. Now unless we hang out Friday nights, we can't see eachother Fridays either, b/c I work 8-5, then he works 5-9, so he knew we couldn't talk tomorrow. He would go two whole days w/out talking to me?
He was begging/trying to save our relationship just last night. Then tonight I don't even cross his mind? He had no intentions of talking to me, asking me how my day was, just ONE conversation for the day. He had time between work and the bar to call me, but he didn't. When I asked why he didn't call, he flew off the handle and started accusing me of being controlling and saying so much nonsense like I don't let him do what he wants! He even hung up on me. I feel so confused, helpless, and sad. What is going through his head?
RomanceClass.com AdviceWhat comes to mind is that he may feel that he gave up too much last night.
You had a civil conversation which may mean that he was not really saying what he meant. He demeaned himself in front of you and now he is trying to boost his ego up again by being distant.
Since he is at the point of hanging up on you, my advice is to stop trying to contact him and let him cool off.
Good luck! George
