I dont know what to do next

Here goes, im 22 and have never had a gf before, I have always liked girls but have always been too focused on school and I have always been kinda overweight so I never really went after anyone, I have recently lost alot of weight and everyone tells me about how good I look now. Well just recently in December I got a new job and I met this girl there that just floored me. I dont know if it was love at first sight but from the moment I met her I told myself I have to have this girl. The bad part was she only worked in my office once a week and when I would go into work it was almost time for her to go so we would never really get a chance to talk or anything.

On valentines day I said, f it and I sent her flowers to her office with a secret admirer poem and an email adress in case she wanted to contact me. Well she started contacting me and we exchanged a few good emails, she was just dying to find out who I was and really had no clue who sent the flowers to her. about 1 week and a half later I showed up to work and she was there, the whole time we were in the supply room talking alot more than we had ever talked before. All of a sudden she said I gotta go and she left work really fast at about 5pm.

I got out of work at about 9pm, got home and checked my email and I got an email from her at about 5:10 pm. The email said, " I think I know who you are now, I think I saw you at work today, when will you let me know who this is?" So then I replied to her and confirmed it was me. The next day I showed up to work and all of a sudden started recieving text messages from someone and I was like who the heck is messaging me. Well it was her and she told me that she got my cell number from the roster at work. Right away she texted me a pic of her where she looked absolutely gorgeous, she then told me she wanted a pic of me and to go take one in front of a mirror. So I went and took one and sent it to her and she said it was cute. Basically after that we started texting eachother alot the rest of the week. I was excited because we were both going to be working in the office alone on friday of that week.

Well friday came and I showed up to work with a couple of roses, I guessed which car she drove was and left a rose on her winshield and then gave her a rose when i went into the office. She was really excited to see that I brought her a rose and got up and gave me a huge hug. That whole time at work everything seemed to be going to great, we were both getting to know eachother alot better, we started asking eachother alot more personal questions and basically we both had so many things in common. A client came into the office for some services that only an employee that was showing up a half hour later was going to be able to help him with. Normally we just tell people like that to wait in the lobby, but she tried to get him to leave and come back in about half an hour but he stayed there and waited. We both looked at eachother and asked ourselves, why the heck did he have to come in.

Eventually the other employee showed up and took this man into his own office. Me and her talked for a few minutes more. She had to leave because she was going to go pick up her little brother but kept asking me, should I stay longer, I just told her, you dont have to ask me that, you know what im going to say. Well eventually a couple of minutes later she left, she gave me a huge hug goodbye and started walking out of the office, she then wanted me to walk her out but I couldnt leave the office unnatended so I was not able to go walk her out, honestly I dont know if that was a mistake or not, but ohh well. When she got to her car she saw her flower and sent me a text saying that I made her feel so special and that no guy had ever done these things for her. The rest of the night we kept texting each other and everything seemed to be great, i asked her if we were going to see eachother again soon and she said yes we would.

So then 2 days later I sent her a text saying Hi, so then she just asks me, "can I ask you something" and basically told me that if im looking for a relationship with her that she didnt want to hurt my feelings and was just really too focused on school and work right now and wasnt looking for a relationship with anyone. I really dont know what the heck happened but perhaps it had to do with her being 18 and me being 22 years old. So then basically we agreed that we wanted to get to know eachother alot better and would like to be friends and didnt want things to change between us.

A few days later some dumb drama happened in my office where some lady was saying some dumb stuff about her and basically she isnt going to work in my office at all anymore so there went all my chances of at least talking to her or seeing her at least once a week. We kept texting eachother for the next couple of weeks and everything seemed to be going cool until all of sudden she stopped being responsive to my text messages and responds with really short answers. Last week I asked her to come over and watch some NCAA basketball because I know she likes bball, but she was just like, no i cant because im at my friends house. Ever since that day I have not sent her any text messages at all because I feel like she just doesnt like me at all and I feel like I bother her.

What should I do, should I keep texting her and keep trying to be friends, or should I just give it up and forget about this girl that I cant stop thinking about, I havent seen her since that day we were in the office together about 3 weeks ago and its just killing me big time. Thanks in advance for any advice you can give me.

Call her today and ask her if she wants to hang out and watch the semis tonight. She's probably already busy but at least shows you are still interested.

If she can't make the semis say "Hey, what about the finals?" This will put her on the spot and she will probably say yes.

It's nice you found a girl at long last, don't lose her by wimping out.
