Does she like me?

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Male
There's this girl that i like(obviously). Shes 2 years yonger than me and i think that she likes me but im not sure. We talked on the phone a few times, over messenger, and through e-mails. I see her looking at me sometimes and friends say she's been checking me out. She told me I was her best guy-friend. I asked her out once, but it was on april fools. She said yes and she seemed seriouse. but the next day she said it was a april fools thing and told me not to tell anyone about it. Im confused on if she likes me and should i ask her out?
