Is it worth hoping?
Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old FemaleMy ex and I split up in September 2005. He had met someone else. We had only been together for 5 months, but I have no doubt in my mind that he is the love of my life, I have never managed to get over him. He dated the girl he left me for for another 4 months for so, and has been single since. Two months after we split up, I started seeing someone myself (we broke up about 3 months ago) and have a 4 month old daughter.
After I finished my last relationship, I began to notice that my ex was talking to me more, being friendlier than usual. I also noticed though, that whenever I would hug a male friend, he was sit and stare, as if he was jealous. Just two weekends ago, we were in the same bar with our friends (we are in the same group of friends) and we both ended up at a mutual friends party. Nothing usual there, this happens a lot. I went to the toilet and when I was in there, I heard someone waiting outside- I guessed they wanted to use the toilet themselves. I opened the door and there was my ex. We talked for a minute, just every day conversation and we shared a hug. For some reason though, we both ended up going to his appartment downstairs and into his bedroom- nothing was said, it just happened. We ended up having sex. Admittedly, we were both drunk, but not to the point we didnt know what was happening. I know my ex and he has never been one to have one night stands.
Afterwards, we fell asleep for a while. We woke up for a bit, and we snuggled in together and he kissed my forehead until we fell asleep again. When I woke up later, I had to go and he was so tired he could barely talk so as of yet I have no idea if it meant anything or if he was just drunk, wanted some and came to me for it. Of course I'd love for us to get back together, but Ive no idea what he thinks or how he feels. I am preparing myself for the worst though.
