I am still in love with him
Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old FemaleMy ex and I have had a whirlwind 3 year relationship. We made a lot of mistakes in the beginning and I associate these mistakes with the fact that we were both so young when we met. Right now, I am 21 and he is 22. We broke up about a year ago, but we have remained in constant contact with one another. Just when I thought things were heading in the right direction, he comes out of nowhere and tells me that he's had a girlfriend for 7 months. He said that he still loves me and that he still has feelings for me, but that they have a good thing too and he doesn't just want to leave her. He was on his knees with his arms around my waist telling me how sorry he was. He even told me that he still carries my picture in his wallet "because it's me". We still talk all the time, and we've hung out since then, but I can't seem to figure out how to get him to leave her and come back to me. We have been through so much together and he even told me that I'm his best friend. Lately I've been hearing that they've been looking at houses to rent together. This doesn't bother me so much because there have been plenty of times that we had looked at renting houses and things fell though. But I don't know what I would do if they moved in together. I feel so connected to him and I can't think about anything else. I've tried dating other people, I've tried not calling, I've tried not being clingy, but nothing seems to work. Please help me! I'm desperate. What should I do to make him want to be with me again??????
RomanceClass.com AdviceHe seems to have strong feelings for you, but he has a girlfriend.
Make yourself as attractive as possible. Dress nicely, groom your hair and nails, read "real stuff" like newspapers, newsmagazines so you will have a wider range of conversation, go on a vacation, invest in self-improvement classes, etc.
These will make you appear to him as a classy and desirable woman.
But, the bottom line is you are trying to steal a guy from his girlfriend which isn't a very cool thing to do.
Good luck! George
