Trying to start a relationship

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
I've been talking to this girl for 8 months now. As time went on I started to like her, and she did too except she didn't want a relationship right now. The reason being is because she had relationships in the past where guys did her wrong and lied to her. So now she has a problem with trust. I try to show her that im not just another one of those guys who tells her anything and hurts her. whats up?

She fears the flame and so you should cool off and be her friend. Only then will she begin to trust you and allow you to get closer to her. This will take time, so it is good you have already had eight months with her.
