I like a girl but she has a boy friend

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Male
I have liked this girl since the begining of the school year. One of my friends had asked her if she would go out with me and she said yes. so I waited till the next day to ask her out and I was to late she got asked out that night by another guy. A month went by we were still talking and she still seemed interested in me.she would lean on me or come near me. I wrote her a note saying i understand you have a boy friend but i would just like a chance. and a couple of other things. she wrote me back saying that i am a very nice guy and i like you alot but not enough to become your girlfriend and some other stuff.we really havent been talking. I still really like her alot. they have been going out since october. I like her so much I dream about her all the time. Do i just move on and foreget her or do I keep trying.
