Does she want me to ask her out?
Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old MaleI have liked this girl for about a year, and for the second half, she has been single. I am friendly with her, always talking to her and looking into her eyes whilst doing so. I always flirt with her and cuddle her when I see her and she seems to respond well. I quite often catch her looking in my direction when we are close by.
If we meet up somewhere with a group of friends, she shouts my name and comes running up to me. shes been doing this for the last month or so. I have thought about asking her out, but I have only asked a girl out once before and it went horribly wrong and was embarrassing for both of us, so I am lacking in confidence, despite the fact that she seems to like me. Not only that, but she seems to flirt with other people I know, and I’m worried that if I don’t ask her out soon, I will miss that opportunity.
Do you think that she is displaying signs of ‘wanting to be asked out’ and have you got any advice or tips I can use to boost my confidence and finally ask her out.
Thanks for all your help!
RomanceClass.com AdviceYes she is showing signs of "wanting to be asked out" and you should not miss the opportunity while it is there.
Try something like this: tell here that you are "developing feelings" for her and would like to ask her out for a date. She will say yes.
Practice saying this out loud to yourself until you feel comfortable with what you are saying and won't stutter or fumble.
Don't let one old experience bring you down. Remember that growing up is all about being nice and brave.
Good luck! George
