talking to a friends friend

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
I want to go up to a girl and talk to her, all my friends know already and they want me to go talk to her. When i go up to her (and all my friends and her friends will be watching since we hang out really close to each other) how should i start the conversation and keep it going? Oh yeah and she kinda has been trying to avoid me, is that good or bad?

It is not easy to start and continue a conversation with a girl who is avoiding you. You feel nervous and in a crowd of people.

My advice is to find out her phone number or email or w/e and contact her in a less threatening environment. She may not want to talk to you, who knows? But it is better to find that out in a private rather than public way.

Prepare different topics of conversation so you can keep it going.
