Are he and his fag hag too close?
Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old MaleI've been going out with my boyfriend for 15months now, I am extremely happy, money is always quite tight but we deal, we live together as a result. The only problem I have is my boyfriends realtionship with his best friend who is female, now obviously we are gay so I am not worried about her as a threat sexually its just that they spend most days together at the moment. We both work full time now so i feel like when we do have free time it is special however he says he needs friends outside of our relationship which Im fine with, i like most of his friends its just this one girl. Theyve known each other for 3years and i dont feel like i can compete, they have in-jokes and speak in a welsh accent (as they are both welsh though you wouldnt know from listening to him)
She's also 3years younger and I feel she is more immature and I feel she's a bad influence on him. Today he has gone to work, he is working 7am-4pm and I am working 2:30pm-8:30pm so he's meeting up with her after work which i dont mind as he has free time, i just dont want to get home and her be in our house, its starting to get me down. I know i have nothing to worry about but i feel like he should want to spend more time with me, i dont feel like he has enough time for 2 intense relationships.
RomanceClass.com AdviceGently explain to him that you need more alone time together with him.
Point out that she is getting a lot of time from him and that it is beginning to weaken your relationship.
Plan sosme interesting activities or even just dinners, walks, picnics, movies, etc. to draw his interest from her.
Good luck! George
