two different cultures and wanting to rekindle a romance after second chance
Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old FemaleHi. I have been dating this guy for a while, long enough to know I really really care for him, though it is too soon too say it's love. He is Korean and I am American. Anyhow, we both have been going through stress of daily life and work, etc. And for some reason we have been getting into many stupid little fights for some reason, though we both have said we hate these fights we still care too much for eachother. he told me it can never go back to the beginning to where he really flattered me and tried to romance me. how can I bring the passion back and want him to romance me in return? How can I get him to feel that deep passion as he did before? How can I get him to truly love me again?
Thank you,
Erica
RomanceClass.com AdviceYou want him to court you as he did in the beginning, and he says he can't do it.
Take him at his word and let him know that you find that unacceptable. I don't know anything about Korean culture or courting habits. Perhaps it is normal for Korean men to leave the courting phase quickly.
You will need to discuss this with him gently and lovingly and try to figure out if there is any hope for your relationship.
Good luck! George
