I'm too nervous!

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Male
I have a HUGE crush on this one girl but I am way, way, WAY too nervous to talk to her. I mean I try to talk to her but a soon as she looks over at me I lose all my courage and quickly walk away. How do I work up the courage to talk to her without chickening out?

Write her a note and tell her you are too shy to talk in person right now but that you would like to communicate online with her and ask her how to contact her. On the same note, write your contact information.

Another thing to try is this. Whenever you see her, look her right in the eyes, say in a clear voice "Hi" plus her name, and give her a big smile.
Don't forget the smile, it's very important.
