What do I do?

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
I have a problem with jealousy. Me and my boyfriend have been going out for about a year now. When we first started going out i wasn't jealous at all but now the past couple of months i started being jealous. I have never really felt jealous in my life before. I'm mainly jealous because every single girl likes him because he is so hot and cool. I know that he loves me and will never hurt me, but a part of me won't let go of that jealous feeling. Ive talked to him about my jealous feelings and he has been patient with me but i can tell hes getting annoyed. I dont want him to look at other girls (pics of naked girls). But i also want to be a cool girlfriend and let him look... please help!

Jealousy can be a destroyer of relationships, so it is good that you are seeking advice on this topic.

You must fight jealousy whenever it rears its ugly head. Tell it to go away and leave you alone. Keep doing this until it gets tired of bothering you.

Also, keep in mind that a great percentage of men look at other women and naked pics (when given a chance.) So despite how it hurts, don't consider him to be unusual. It is hard to break those habits.
