Close Friends
Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old MaleIve known this girl for about 2 years now and am absoulutly crazy about her. Problem is, about a year ago, right before I was about to ask her out, someone beat me to it. We have stayed "close" friends but now we don't see each other much. But when we are together, we laugh, have fun and just enjoy life. Long story short, when she goes off to college next year, she is not going to be with her boyfriend anymore and since im a year younger than her, I'm not going to college for 2 years. However, we are probly going to the same college.(not in a creepy way but I have had my main college picked out and it just so happened that she will probly be going there.) So as her 4 years at high school end in 1 semeser, how can I get close enough with her so that we will stay in touch when she leaves and so that when her boyfriend and her break up, I'll be close enough to her to be right there for her. I have tought of one idea, not sure if I should put it up cause its kinda a personal thing and might be reconized by someone. Any ideas?
RomanceClass.com AdviceNot to be mean, but I think you need to examine this more closely.
You've had plenty of time to make close friends with her but you don't see her too much. She has a boyfriend at least to next August. She's been going out with this guy for a while and you think they will break up, but maybe they won't. She is starting college and probably has no desire to take up with a high school kid. She will want to open her wings and fly free.
But, if you are determined to try, keep working on being her best friend and hanging out with her. You never know what's going to happen in this life.
Good luck! George
