is it trouble.......... or ok...... what to do?

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
first off i just want to say i love this site, its so helpful. i recently started chatting to a guy online( i talked to him first). the problem is i am a bit young for him . lets say im 15 and he's 20 ...yes way old. im unsure i dont want either of us to get in trouble. of course i know the rules and what could happen . usually i date older guys but hes a bit older than the usual. i can tell he feels awkward but i think he likes me. if no sex is involved and its not an actual 'relationship' seeing as he lives a while away , does that make it ok? do i tell him i feel awkward and ask him if he still thinks its ok.im not sure what i should do . as of now im trying to remain calm , emotionless so i can make a level headed decision.

thanks alot!

Glad you like the site :)

My advice is to talk with your mother about this. She knows you better than I do and she knows if you are mature enough to handle the situation.

My own advice is to drop the guy. There are thousands of boys your age or slightly older who would be delighted to talk with you or hang out with you. Why run the risk of getting involved with a man at this point in your life.

Good luck! George
