does he like me more than a friend

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
i'm currently a sophomore and i have really strong feelings for another sophomore. The problem is, he's in college and i'm in highschool. We hang out on the weekends, we go out for ice cream, grab some lunch, play games, go on hikes, and watch movies. He's everything i want in a guy and he means so much to me. However, when i thought we were getting really close he got a girlfriend. they broke up shortly after and now we're even closer than before. this past weekend i hung out with him everyday. He told me later how much fun he had this weekend and that we should do it more often. i want him to be more than a friend to me, but i'm afraid the four year age difference is too much. What should i do to let him know how i feel about him, but not lose him as a friend if he doesn't have the same feelings? i'm afraid that if i tell him, it'll be too awkward when we're alone together.

RomanceClass.com Advice
Don't come right out and say you like him because it might turn awkward.

Instead, tell him nonchalantly that "I feel like I am starting to develop feelings for you but I don't want anything to ruin our friendship." This should start the conversation and you will find out how he feels.

Good luck! George
