Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old FemaleI wrote to you about *the big day* that i got him a dog tag and he was overcome with emotion and was really happy and hugged me really tight and wouldn't let me go. That night, he chatted to me on msn and said thanks again and we had like a normal conversation and we had jokes and stuff then i said i got to go because i didn't want to keep the conversation going since i have got to make it seems as if i am okay without him and don't really need him to be happy. Buh now i don't know what to do next! When we are going to meet at college after half term, shall i hug him just the way i hug my other friends or like start ignoring him again like i was before? And if i do hug him and like we start talking to each other again like proper, I am afraid hes going to think of me as a friend!

His reaction to the present shows that he cares for you a lot.
Besides, he will be chatting with you some more so just be your normal self and don't pretend to be something you aren't.
If you act too neutral to him, he is more likely to put you into the friend category.
