Im So Confused!!!!
Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old FemaleI am so confused. My boyfriend and i have only been dating for 4 months. but after the first month of our relationship he told me that he loved me. I didn't believe him, even though he said it all the time. He told me that he has never felt the way he does about me before. his mother even told me that he always talks about me and building a future with me. he said he wants me to be his wife and he never wnats to be away from me. He even has my name tattooed on him to show me that he plans on being with me forever. I love this boy with all of my heart, but i think his feelings have changed. he recently met his x-girlfriend from 3 years ago and now he claims they are best friends. he is always spnding time with her and even went to church with her and he hardly ever goes to church and he was supposed to go with me, but he hasnt. he always talks to her and now he talks to her more than me. she knows about me but she told him that she still loves him and wants to be with him. He hardly ever calls me now and we never spend time together. When i confronted him he says that he is not with a girl and he is with his friend trying to get money so that they both can get a new car. This has been going on for 2 weeks now. i want to break up with him so that he can have time to realize what he had and think about who he wants to be with, but i dont want to leave him and he just forgets about me and move on. What should i do? I love him so much and i want us to be together, but i dont wnat to get hurt. Should i leave or should i stay?
RomanceClass.com AdviceThis has only been going on for two weeks. That's a drop in the bucket.
Give him more time before getting upset or think of bailing out on him. Just be normal and helpful. Let him know, in a gentle way, that you love him and want to spend more time with him.
Ask for details about how he is getting money, how much he needs, and what kind of car he is looking for. This will do two things: 1) make him happy that you are interested in details, and 2) if he doesn't have details them you might be more suspicious about him.
Good luck! George
