Is love lost?
Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old MaleAllow me to explain my situation...I'm going to give people leters for names for ease of conversation. I've been going out with my girlfriend(A) for a year and eight months, which is forever to most people at middle school. Anyhow, we are, and have been, very honest with eachother throughout our relationship. At one point our discussions turned to whom would we like to date were we not and so I told her.....months later the girl(B) I told A I'd date if I were not already going out with her told me she would go out with me if she were not going out with her boyfriend. For....two, three weeks(?) now I've been trying to figure out if I still love my girlfriend because I just don't know anymore. I don't know if any of that stuff with B is relevant to this, but.....Oh, and A's ex-best friend keeps trying to get us to break up because she hates A now because A spends more time with me than her, etc....That too may be irrelevant, but I'm not sure....Anyways, it's been a few weeks since I first began to question whether I love my girlfriend anymore and I still don't know....Should I be forward with her about this and go from there? Should we break-up?
RomanceClass.com AdviceAt your age, it is important to get to know different people.
Your relationship with A may just be fizzling out... and now the prospect of B is in your mind. Talk it over with A and see what she says. She may break up with you, so don't be surprised.
If you have to think for 2-3 weeks about whether you still love A, then you probably have tired of her.
A break-up could be a good thing in this situation.
Good luck! George
