Is he just playing around???
Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Femaleok, so we've been friends for approximately 5 yrs now, since 2003 i guess. I moved here in U.S last 2005 but still we constantly chat to each other thru YM. I can say that he's my best friend coz i can tell everything to him. Just recently, (lastweek) he told me that he loves me and wants me to be his girlfriend and that we should give it a try coz anywayz some good relationships begin as being friends. by the way, he never had a serious relationship yet. I didnt say yes right away coz i was literally shocked of what he have said to me. But i admit that i do really have a feelings to him more than friends. So the next day i left him a message at Ym that yea i want to give it a shot. He said that im he's "girlfriend" and i never felt anything that im really his. I dont feel the care, sweetness.. etc. So we still chat almost everyday but he never bring up the issue of relationship-as gf-bf. I am really confused, he never act as a "bf" to me. I really do have a feelings with him and i want him to be my bf but seems that he never likes me or into me. What should i do? how would i know if he really mean what he said to me that he loves me or just playing around? btw, we're miles miles away...
RomanceClass.com AdviceSince this is his first relationship, you probably will need to give him advice on what to do or say.
Have a loving chat with him and let him know. Maybe if you act lovingly to him he will get the idea. You go first so he will understand what you want.
Be clear and communicate with him. Don't think he will learn quickly, perhaps he is slow.
I don't think he is playing around.
Good luck! George
