should i wait?
Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old FemaleIve met this man about a month and a half ago and things are wonderful. he is so far so much of what i ask for in a partner. our relationship has been exclusively just seeing eachother. But the problem is is that he is involved in the military and in 6 months time, he will be gone for a year and a half overseas. he wants us to be in a committed relationship and so do i, but he will want me to wait for him. i believe he would be worth the wait, but if it dosent work out, i would have wasted much time just waiting for this guy. (i am 24, he is 26) should i wait for him, or possibly lose him? i have been very much looking to settle down and get married. and he is looking for something lasting also.. i just do not want to lose out on time if we do not work out.
i dont know what to do!
RomanceClass.com AdviceYou have only known him a month and a half. It is too early to make a decision now.
Take the next six months to closely examine how you feel about him and how he treats you. You will have a better idea after six months to make a decision.
A year and half break is a extremely long time to wait for each other. Be positive you are ready for it or you may discover that it was a mistake.
Good luck! George
