I just don't know!!!
Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old MaleI need help:
I have this girlfrind named Cierra, when we firt met, we hit it off very nicely. I love her to death but she goes through so much throughout her life that it makes me want to cry my eyes out! She's been to 8 different foster homes (all horrible by the way) and when she was 4 years old, her real parents commited suicde! Anyway, when I talk to her, she talks really low, like she's depressed. Now, when I'm with a girl, even though we are young, I still believe in comitment andtrust and I trust her all the way, but I question her trust for me. I can tell when she is sad and when she gets sad, I get sad. I ask her if she trusts me and she says yea I guess (which means yes to her) and I belive her, but when I ask her whats wrong, she say "nothing" in that low, raspy, sad voice and I can always tell when something is wrong and plus I'm good at psycology so I know how to get into someones head. It's like she can't trust me to help her get through alot of the things she is going through. What does that tell you and is there anything I can do? plus does she even trust me? please help because our relatioship is at stake and I really love her!
PS: Sorry this is so long but please help. Thanks.
RomanceClass.com AdviceIt is easy to understand why she is depressed considering all the sad things she has suffered in her life. Don't expect her to trust you right away but keep reassuring her that you care for her every day.
If your school has a school psychologist, suggest to her that she make an appointment to discuss her problems. Professional guidance is something that would probably help her a lot.
Don't try to solve her problems, all you can do is help a little. You are very good for trying to help her. Sometimes a good friend (or boyfriend) can make a lot of difference is someone's life.
Good luck! George
