Intimidated by eachother
Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old FemaleMe and my bf have been together 5 months and I care about him alot. We are both 16 years old and have problems commuicating, however, I figured it was a minor problem that would eliminate itself over time once we were more comfortable around eachother. We go to the same school and @ school we walk right past each other in the hallway all day and we both be mad that we are not talking. I want 2 talk to him but when I see him I just can't walk up to him. My heart starts beating all fast and I don't remember what I want 2 say so we just stare @ each other knowing we both want 2 talk. It's easier said than done though. When we were friends we never had this problem but now that we're 2gether he seems larger than life. Im pretty sure he feels the same toward me and thats kinda relieving cuz @ first thought he didnt really like me. We talk on the phone frequently but in person we are both just unapproachable to each other. Sometimes one of us will get tired of walking past eachother all day and we might hug or kiss and the chemistry is there but I'm confused. Everyone says that we seem crazy cuz we so scared of each other. This relationship is so weird but thats my boo. So what do I do?
RomanceClass.com AdviceThe first thing to do is to start talking in school.
Whenever you cross paths, you should smile at him and say clearly "Hi" and his name. You could then say "How are you doing?" Smiling is the most important part followed by saying "Hi."
Soon you will comfortable saying more and your relationship will be more normal. You could even think of a nickname and say "Hi, Honey."
Good luck! George
