Confused

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
Im not sure if this will help me, but it will be nice to have an opinion thats not one of my friends.

I've liked this girl for a while now but never said anything or done anything because in knew she had a boyfriend. before any of this came out she said to various people on numerous occasions she wasn't happy with him and he wasn't really treating her right. From spending time with them, we all agree with her.
Then one day my friend told her i liked her and she said to her, she liked me and she was contemplating spliting up with him for me but she said she was too scared to do so, which is fair enough. We didnt say we liked each other to each other but after that there was alot of flirting, and it was obvious she liked me aswell. but shes young, its her first relationship and i thought maybe shes just surcoming to peer pressure rather then wat she feels..and plus i wanted her to have time and space to really think about it rather then me forcing anything on her.. i didnt think that was right...and i wasnt sure myself..i flirted but refrained from really showing my true feelings incase she wasnt too sure and i ended up gettin hurt. i didnt see her for a few months after that..in which time she said to her friends she was in love with her boyfriend..i find that hard to believe as one minute shes ready to split up with him on someone elses word that i like her and the next shes in love with him. but anyway i saw her for the first time in a few months recently while at school and i was talking to a group of people as she walked round the corner, she instantly looked at me and i instantly looked at her..out of everyone else standing in our way we managed to find each other...but i havnt really had the time to speak to her latly so thats how its been left...she used to come out with us now and again but now she wont, she just hangs out with her boyfriend..im pretty sure her boyfriend knows about me just from the fact he used to say hello..now he looks like he wants to fight me when he sees me..lol
What do you think? my thoughts are maybe she was just confused and maybe still is? maybe i didnt show her enough how i felt so she doesnt think i do like her? she thought it was a joke at first until her friends told her it was...
also her boyfriend wasnt really interested in her before, didnt really show her much attention and didnt really treat her well.. maybe know hes heard he may loose her its scared him and hes actually treating her right and keeping her close to him so no one else can get near her? he seems very protective of her, always thinks shes going to run off with someone else the first moment she gets...but shes not like that..hmmmm im incrediably confused!!

At her age, a week seems like a month. If you want to get closer to her try to become her friend. Since she has a boyfriend, you can't directly ask her out. It is even hard for you since she hangs out with him so much.

My best advice is for you to find another girl unless this one becomes free.
