what does he mean?
Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old FemaleSo ive been friends with a guy for about a year now. it started out completely as friends and we have just grown stronger and closer and i dont know what he thinks. he always brings up his ex or other girls when he is around me but if i dare to talk about another guy he asks, why are you talking/thinking about him? or sometimes when were together he will sit really close to me or stand really close to me. he seems to always want to be right by my side. or he calls me constantly whenever were not together to tell me random things about his day or that he is watching a movie, or that a certain show is on tv, or that he is bored. i dont get it. sometimes too he will ask for things like sex and other stuff but he knows i wont do it without a relationship so he backs off...or when we are at a party together, he will play the drunk and horny card and always wants to do something with me but i dont know if its just because he is drunk and horny or if he wants it. i dont know what to think about him. i want to be friends, and the thought of being more than friends has crossed my mind, but i dont want to get hurt.
RomanceClass.com AdviceSince you are such close friends, you should be able to discuss this problem and have a meeting of the minds.
Explain how you feel and ask him how he feels. Based on this, you can decide whether you want to be more than friends. Think more about what you mean when you say that you don't want to get hurt.
Since he is so sexually aggressive, make that one of the points of discussion. Find out, if you can, what exactly does he expect and you can decide if he is even close to what you want.
Good luck! George
