Want ex back but she has a boyfriend.

Me and my ex broke up about 9 months ago. Immediately after we broke up she told a mutual friend that she was going to get a boyfriend real soon! Maybe 2-3 months after breakup she had started dating this guy. i havent really talked to her. Since she started dating this guy. She hasnt called or even visited our dog together since then. No contact attempt has been made besides on july 4 when i texted her happy 4th and such and she replied back the same. what can i do to possibly get back with her? I still love her very much?

Try to become good friends with her. Use the dog as an opener. Tell her that you miss talking with her and that you'd like to start again.

Since she has a boyfriend, you can't try to go any farther than friends. If your relationship grows very close she might break off with him.

This is a long shot since you've been broken up a long time with next to no contact.
