PLEASE HELP!!!!!!! Does he like me or not ?

So there is a guy I know 4 years now from school, and he keeps sending me mixed signals. Everything began 3 years ago when he sent me a note telling me he likes me. He is perhaps one of the hottest and popular boys of the school. He is kinda of the bad boy ( but he has respect for certain things ), outgoing. I am well..... normal though i'm told I'm pretty, shy, nice, innocent and kinda unpopular. Cause he is generally very flirtatious and social with other girls I thought that he was kidding at the beginning, but he continued to do little things such as giving me " knowing looks ", pick up things for me, always initiate any conversation,constantly asking me of homework or to borrow him a pencil. Sometimes he pretends that I don't exist and sometimes he stares deeply at me, and he even asked me if I have a boyfriend!!!! ( of course I didn't tell him ).Yet he has never asked me out, or asked my cellphone or msn and stuff.To make things worse, my best girlfriend ( like most of the girls in school ) has a crush on him. It's been three years now that he's doing this to me, and still I'm try to figure it out if he really likes me or is playing with me. And if he does, then why he doesn't ask me out ? And I, being confused of his behavior, I'm afraid to show any sign of attraction to him because I'm not sure of his feelings, and of course I don't want to get hurt. Therefore I try to ignore him until he clarifies the situation. D' you think he likes me???and if he does then why doesn't he ask me out ? What should I do ? And if he plays with me, then why does he do that for 3 years now ??

Perhaps he is drawn to you because you are not reacting eagerly like other girls do when he flirts with them. If you are interested in him, respond to him so he knows you like him.

If you just want to know whether he likes you specially, quit trying... he partially likes you and partially is naturally flirty.
