Getting my Ex Back

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Female
My boyfriend and i were together for 6 months. I know that that is not a very long time, but our relationship was extrememly deep and intimate. We broke up becuase the past two weeks had been very difficult and someone else was showing a lot of interest in me, too much for comfort. He also broke up with me becuase summer was approaching and he felt that things were not going to get better. He broke it off, and we were both very upset.

It has been two and a half months since the break up and i still love him. I have gone on dates and everytime i realize more and more that i want him back. We have been talking ever since the break up, and i want to try and win him back again, since the past 2 years that i have known him we have both been interested in eachother and feel i cannot be friends because i end up liking him again (knowing from experiences with him). I am not sure how to approach this. help!

On one hand it is relatively easy to deal with an ex, because you have all that history with each other. On the other hand you have to make sure that you make it clear that you have learned from past mistakes. You guys broke up once already. You already threw in the towel when things got tough. You have to make a stronger commitment to each other that THIS time you will really stick with it and work on problems when they arise instead of just giving up.
