is it time?( not sexual question)

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
SO there is this girl who im close to as a friend and maybe even more. I was walking her home today, and out of left field she tells me about her breaking up with her boyfriend. Now i like this and even considered a relationship with her, I asked her how she felt about dumping her boyfriend and she was happy. I am majorly confused should i make my move? I mean dont even know if she likes me and if i ask her out wouldnt that kinda mess up our friendship now?

Tell her "I don't want to mess up our friendship, but I would like to ask you out now that you are free."

Don't give up if she says "I don't know" or "Maybe" or even "No not now." Keep asking because she could change her mind and also you don't want some other guy getting her in the meantime.
