getting back with ex question

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
well, I sort of been giving my ex more spaces then ever. Before, I used to called her once a week, now I just stop (after she tells me that I have to give her spaces) But a couples of days ago, she messaged me and asked me how I am doing etc. But the question is that since I am going to move closer to her, should I give her something for valentine? I was thinking something simple. I don't want her to think I am forcing her with this gift, so any recommendation?
