Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old FemaleHi I am twenty years old and i am currently dating this guy i have known since fifth grade and we have been dating for a year and a few months now. We are in a long distance relationship. He lives in washington I live in Tx. When we first started dating i had just moved out of my house so i was living with my best friend and i went out and partyed a lot. And he would get very upset and mad at me that i did that(he is really mature and no in to girls who drink all the time), and i pretty much just ignored his feelings. He still treated me like gold even though i continued to go out, eventually he got really upset about it and i stopped. But recently he has just been thinking about it a lot and i have moved back in with my dad, and he is upset at the fact that i talk to him all the time now since im not with my friends. So now we are in this never ending fight he hates me but loves me, and pretty much wants to get me back for treating him like shit. I really do not know what to do. I want to make this work i just am at a loss on how to do so.
RomanceClass.com AdviceThe answer is rather easy to say, but hard to do.
Tell him you were wrong to go out partying and to make him worry and get upset. If he pursues the subject, continue to say you are sorry and won't do it again.
If he still harps on the subject then tell him you are sorry but if he keeps on you will have to dump him.
Good luck! George
