Is things getting better or I'm just imagining?
Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old FemaleHi,
My bf called for a time out 2 mths ago. During this 2 mths he didnt call or msg me at all. It was so difficult to cope from having him around always to nothing at all. We were constantly quarrelling and he said that he needed time to relax and not think about the quarrels. Said we'll talk when he's ready, but its been 2 months and I've not heard anything at all... Even when I make the effort to go to his place to look for him, he wouldn't see me. It was a very scary feeling cause it felt like he's not going to care anymore.
Just few days back I decided to drop by his place again and have a good talk, cause I couldnt hang on like this not knowing where this rs is going. We talked for an hour and I told him my fears. I even asked if he knows what he really wants. He said there's nobody else and that there's no other rs. He said he knows what he wants bt wouldnt tell me more cause he said it stresses him in a way to have to say it out, just said that its something good.
He admitted that he missed me but still said that he needs time, but probably soon. I told him why not we set a date and then we come back to talk about it, at least I dont seem to be waiting indefinitely, we finally agreed that we'll meet up 1 mth from then.
Before I left, he actually gave me a hug and I kissed him on the cheek. He seemed more relieved after we talked, but I've not heard from him at all since the day we parted. I don't know if its me imganining or that really things are getting better between us. I just hope I can last 1 mth without doing anything stupid that will further jeopardize the current situation. What should I do?
RomanceClass.com AdviceSounds like things are getting better, but you should wait until a month is up. That is what you both agreed to.
The month will give both of you time to think over how you feel. Meanwhile, enjoy your life as it is the only one you get. No reason to obsess over him because you will probably have a new boyfriend a year from now and be head over heels in love with him.
Good luck! George
