I think I'm losing him and there's nothing I can do...please help
Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old FemaleWell like 3 months ago, I met this guy on a trip. We both go to the same school, but he's a grade younger in 7th grade(now its summer so he's practically in 8th). We used to call each other almost every day and he used to like me(I'm not sure if he does anymore). But, I still like him. I texted him not too long ago, but he never replied. That happened a while before that too. He doesn't call anymore either and he wouldn't dance with me at a school dance because his friend liked(and still likes) me. Now its summer and we don't see each other anymore and I'm going into high school next year and he's not. I really don't know what to do. Is there any way I can get him to like me or talk to me even? I can't call him myself because my parents say the boy should always call the girl so they won't let me. And please give me a long answer and don't tell me to forget about him, because I can't get him out of my head. I think I love him even though I'm young. I wouldn't mind if you gave me some advice on what to do also...
Thanks in advance!
RomanceClass.com AdviceThe problem seems to be that he has a friend who still likes you. He won't interact with you because it would go against his friend. Try to get the message to him (through a mutual friend) that you like him but not the other guy. Then he should start answering your text msgs.
If that doesn't work, then break your parent's guideline and call him up and explain to him what you feel. BTW, your parents are about 40 years behind the times.
While all this is going on, keep an eye open for another guy to crush on in case this one doesn't work out.
Good luck! George
