Being Led On By A Girl

Im 19 years old, i have a real issue with being gullible and way to nice. It leads to heartbreak all the time. Heres my story. About 3 months ago I was on msn and this girl randomly added me. I asked her who it was and she said her computer messed up and accidently added all her old contacts. We started talking because i was curious if we knew each other before (i thought she was very good looking from her picture)
We talked for awhile and exchanged numbers and started calling each other every day and it was great. At the time i thought we was a nice,funny,caring,humble girl. This is where it gets ugly, her mom had passed away a couple months before we started talking and her dad had JUST passed away recently. She also had surgury. In these 3 months ive asked her to go on numerous dates, 6 TIMES! to be exact. Every time ive asked her she has come up with some sort of lame excuse at the last minute and then re schedual for another time and it would usually be a week later. She lives only 30 minutes away and goes to a university about an hour away. Anyways i recently asked her again to go on a date and she said ok how about monday. The day of our date we talked and confirmed so i drove down to her place and called her and told her i was outside. I WAS WAITING OUTSIDE FOR 5 HOURS!!!!!! i wasnt impressed at all. I had found out she got in a car accident on her way home and hadnt heard from her until a week later. Just the other night we were suppose to meet up for a coffee to talk because she wanted to apologize but she never showed. I feel like an idiot and i am embarrassed. She never calls me, she will text me rarely, im always the one putting in effort and showing that i like her and she hasnt done anything to show me. I was talking to her the other night and she said she has essays, exams, presentations to do and that i dont care about how she feels. This has been going on for to long but her excuses seem to perfect? She had 3 months to make time but never did. I blocked her off my facebook and sent her a text and a voicemail and said that she can talk to me if she wants to set up a date if not then i wouldnt reply. I need to know if im doing the right thing? she hasnt talked to me today because i got all mad lastnight and sent her a bunch of texts. Im being stupid and chasing a girl that is playing me. Am i looking desperate?

I need your help and closure on this to help me get perspective. Your help always works!!!

You are being played in a big way. When you keep making dates and she's a no show, you have to realize that she's a player. Please, please stop contacting this girl. You're spending time trying to have a relationship with someone who may not even exist. You should know that it's so easy to fabricate a persona on the internet. Whom ever this 'person' is they're having a good laugh at your expense. Get on with your life and find a face to face relationship.
